Meet Christen Michel
Esthetician
Christen’s passion for skincare runs deeper than surface level. She believes healthy skin is inseparable from confidence, and that belief has shaped every aspect of her career. After earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Missouri-Columbia, she followed her passion and enrolled at The Skin Institute, earning her esthetics license in 2003. The combination of science, human connection, and visible results made the field a natural fit.
At Back Pain Center, Christen takes a personalized approach with every client because she believes every face tells a story. She creates customized treatment plans designed around each person’s unique skin goals and takes pride in helping clients feel comfortable and cared for throughout the process. Building lasting relationships, celebrating progress, and being a trusted part of her clients’ self-care journeys are what make her work so rewarding.
Outside the treatment room, Christen loves to travel, whether it’s an extended trip or a quick weekend getaway. She’s a devoted true crime fan and recently discovered a love for Pilates. Above all, her favorite pastime is cheering on her three boys at their sporting events, including road trips to watch her son compete in track at the University of Tulsa.
